Anyone could watch Louis XV eat

Louis XV had the ability of removing the shell from a soft-boiled egg with a simple stroke of his fork. On Sundays, when everyone was allowed to be present at the king’s meal, many entertained themselves watching this small episode instead of focusing on the great figure he represented as the monarch.
