According to the Telegraph:

France will honour Britain’s role in D-Day by inviting the Queen to preside over the main international ceremony for the 70th anniversary of the Normandy landings on Sword beach, according to plans disclosed on Wednesday.

Government sources in Paris said that some 16 heads of state would be invited, including the Queen and US President Barack Obama. David Cameron, the Prime Minister, is also due to attend….
