As far as I know, not even the crusaders knew how to underline the beauty and sanctity of the fight as much as Saint Ignatius Loyola, who gave the Society of Jesus the title which, in the archaic language of that time [compañía, company], meant a section of the army. In other words, a company in the military language of the time was a battalion, a regiment or something like that. The Company of Jesus was made to fight!
