Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Imperial State Crown, prior to reading the Queen's Speech which outlines her Government's legislative program for the coming Parliamentary year, in the Palace of Westminster, London, Wednesday Nov. 15, 2006.

“As the Queen and senior members of the Royal Family sail down the Thames aboard a Royal Barge, they will be accompanied by a musical score from the London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), including Handel’s Water Music and other ‘well-loved classics’. Lead by their principal conductor, Vladimir Jurowski, the LPO, usually based at the Royal Festival Hall on London’s Southbank, will take to the water aboard a ‘herald barge’ towards the front of the flotilla of 1,000 boats.”
