Chicago exhibit on Nazi and Communist extermination of Poland’s elite

The Polish Consulate in Chicago has opened an exhibit titled: ”The Destruction of the Polish Elite: Operation AB – Katyń”

The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland has brought to Chicago a historical exhibit by Poland’s National Institute of Remembrance IPN. It will be displayed across the region in cooperation with the Consulate’s many local partners.

The exhibit sheds light on the Third Reich’s and the Soviet Union’s policies aimed at the planned and consistently enforced attempts to decapitate the Polish State.

The exhibit will be displayed throughout the month of July 2013 in cooperation with Chicago’s St. Ferdinand Parish at the adjacent McManus Hall. The Parish is located at 5900 W. Barry Avenue, Chicago.
