Middleport pottery, which dates back to 1888, has just undergone a three-year, £9 million project funded by the Prince’s Regeneration Trust, designed to revive, not just the home of Burleigh and its trademark white and blue ceramics, but also the surrounding area. Currently 80 people fill the factory floor…
Nearby…potteries are now producing prodigious amounts to markets at home and abroad.
