According to Royal Central,
Queen Elizabeth II has become the world’s oldest living Head of State following the resignation of Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe.
The 91-year-old Queen has broken many records over the years due to her longevity. Last year, she became the world’s longest reigning monarch, having been on the throne for over 65 years.
In 2007, she became the oldest Monarch in British history (a record also taken from Queen Victoria) as well as holding the record as the longest-married Monarch.
She is also the only British monarch to have celebrated her diamond and platinum wedding anniversaries.
