Families of captured Ukrainian sailors beg Queen Elizabeth to help

According to The Telegraph:

Russian forces rammed, fired on, and captured three Ukrainian vessels in international waters on November 25…

The 24 sailors captured by Russia in the naval clash are currently being held in prison in Moscow…

In a letter to Her Majesty, the distraught relatives asked the Queen to use her “reputation and influence” to shame the Russian president into freeing the men.

Viktor Soroka, the father of 27-year-old naval counter intelligence officer Vasily Soroka, said:

“I want to thank Her Majesty…for sending the ship which is in Odessa right now… Russia only understands the language of force.”
