Marking the 750th anniversary of Westminster Abbey, Queen Elizabeth II attended the service.
Westminster Abbey has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066 and for numerous other royal occasions, including sixteen royal weddings.
Abigail Wallace, Captain of the Queen’s Scholars at Westminster School, presented a bouquet of roses to The Queen at the start of the service.
She then placed it on the shrine of St Edward the Confessor on behalf of The Queen.
