Queen Elizabeth’s birthday was officially celebrated by the ceremony called Trooping the Colour which is known as The Queen’s Birthday Parade. This year, as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, The Queen’s Birthday Parade took place on Thursday 2 June. The annual event has been held for more than 260 years. The ceremony kicked off a 4-day Platinum Jubilee weekend that will celebrate the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.
