Maybe it was mindlessness that motivated this criminal attack. But in today’s postmodern society, one must also inquire if it was not provoked by an ideological hatred for a country’s noble and royal past.
Anarchists vandalize and destroy, but they are not “vandals” in the hoodlum sense of this word. They are subversives. Their destructive worldview leads them to loath tradition, heritage, authority, superiority, royalty and sovereignty. It molds their actions and violence.
If they could, they would kill a nation’s soul.
